Cleanliness drive for Swachh Bharat-Swachhta Pakhwada-01-09-19 to 15-09-19
Vidhya Sagar Global School conducted a fortnight celebration of various activities on “Cleanliness Drive for Swachh Bharat —Swachhta Pakhwada” as per the CBSE guidelines from 0I-09-19 to 15-09-19. Green School Drive was conducted on 06.09.19. VSGS Scout students participated in the Rally. Green School Drive was conducted on 06.09.19. Scout students and Students of classes V to VIII participated in the Rally which was Flagged off by Sri.Vikas Surana, Correspondent of VSEI.
The Rally was conducted inside the school campus. It started with band at 9.15am from Vidhya Sagar Women’s College and reached the School ground at 10 am. Scouts students took active part in the campus cleaning at 10.05 am. All students took “Swachhata Shapath” (Pledge) in English. Scout students and Students of classes VI to VIII participated in the “Planting of saplings” in the School campus. The children participated enthusiastically in the Green School Drive . Sri Vikas Surana, Correspondent, VSEI, planted the saplings and participated in the campus cleaning campaign. Dr.V.C.Govindrajan, Principal, VSGS Sri K.Marisamy, Empowerment Principal, Sri Aadhesh Kumar Jain, Finance Controller, VSEI , Dr. Shalini, Principal,VSWC& Smt.Brindha mani,Principal,B.Ed College were present at the event.
